We start each dance party with a workshop suitable for all levels, including new dancers who have never experienced tango before, as well as experienced tangueros. Instruction is tailored to individual needs.
Encourage your friends who may have expressed an interest in tango to take part, to learn enough to enjoy the evening’s dancing. To take advantage of these sessions, please arrive on time and be ready to dance at 7:30 pm .

Directions to the Seligmann Homestead

From Interstate 84:
Take Exit 4E at Middletown onto NYS Route 17. Proceed on Route 17 to Exit 126 in Chester. At the end of ramp turn left; go to Route 17M (second traffic light); right on l7M to second traffic light; right on Kings Highway toward Sugar Loaf and Warwick. Watch for signs to Sugar Loaf. Proceed on Kings Highway to Sugar Loaf, make a right into Sugar Loaf (business district); proceed through hamlet, watch on right for Lycian Centre (about ½ mile). White Oak Drive will be a left turn after the Lycian Centre. Proceed on White Oak - yellow barn (offices) will be directly ahead as the road curves to the right. Proceed past the curve to the parking-lot entrance on the left.

From NYS Thruway at Harriman (Exit 16):
Take NYS Route 17 to Exit 127, Greycourt - Sugar Loaf/Warwick in Chester -. At end of ramp bear left, go to traffic light, cross over the highway onto Kings Highway. Watch for signs to Sugar Loaf. Proceed on Kings Highway to Sugar Loaf, make a right into Sugar Loaf (business district); proceed through hamlet, watch on right for Lycian Centre (about ½ mile). White Oak Drive will be a left turn just after the Lycian Centre. Proceed on White Oak - yellow barn (offices) will be directly ahead as the road curves to the right. Proceed past the curve to the parking-lot entrance on the left.

Coming from the south on Kings Highway:
White Oak Drive will be the first right turn after passing Bellvale Road (where the speed limit changes to 40 MPH). Follow directions above to parking-lot entrance.

Argentine Tango is a romantic, couple's dance that originated more than 100 years ago, and is now popular worldwide. Instructors Walter & MariLynne Kane will show how to enjoy this social dance improvisationally, with no memorized steps.
